In 2001, the alpincenter Bottrop opened as one of the largest leisure attractions in the Ruhr region. Built on a spoil heap, with a slope length of 640 m, we can boast the title of “the world’s longest indoor ski slope,” setting us apart from the many other indoor ski slopes around the world. In 2004, the Van der Valk Group took over the indoor ski slope and expanded it to include, among other things, a beer garden. Spend a varied day with the whole family at the alpincenter Bottrop.
