Via the A2: Gladbeck Essen exit
Keep right, towards Essen. Follow the B224 towards Essen for approximately 3 km and turn right onto Prosperstraße at the large intersection. After approximately 2 km, the alpincenter car park is on the right-hand side.
Via the A42: Essen Nord motorway interchange exit / ATTENTION: Exit closed when coming from Oberhausen!
Follow the B224 to the right towards Gladbeck and after approximately 700 m turn left onto Prosperstraße. After approximately 2 km, the alpincenter car park is on the right-hand side.
Parking spaces
Parking fees are charged for parking at the mountain station (entrance to the alpincenter). The first hour is free of charge, and the maximum daily fee is €6.00. Driving up to the entrance at the mountain station for loading and unloading and visiting the sports shop are free of charge.
The car park at the mountain station has a height restriction of up to 2.20 m.
By public transport
From Bottrop Central Station, take bus line 262 towards "ZOB". At the "ZOB" bus stop, change to bus line 263 towards "Boyer Str. / Essen". The final destination is the "Alpincenter" bus stop.
From Essen Central Station, take the U11 towards Buerer Str., Gelsenkirchen. At the "Boyer Str." stop, change to bus line 263 towards "Sterkrade Bf / Oberhausen". The final destination is the "Alpincenter" bus stop.
