In the middle of the beautiful Ruhrgebiet!
The alpincenter Bottrop was opened in 2001 as one of the biggest leisure attractions in the Ruhrgebiet. Built on a hillside, with a track length of 640m, we can claim the title of the "longest ski hall in the world" and are thus different from many other ski halls in the world.
A visit to the alpincenter guarantees fun for the whole family! Whether beginner or professional: Everyone is welcome and can face individual challenges. Beginners will find a "beginners slope" with rope lift, where they can easily learn the first turns in the snow. For advanced skiers, however, the descent offers a gradient of up to 24% and a winding slope course. Once at the bottom you will be transported back to the mountain station with conveyor belts.
